I am really glad we got to see it but I have to say after a 2 hour bus ride each direction it's a bit disappointing to not even get close to the stones. I understand it's for preservation and whatnot but still. I think it's really interesting if we could have figured out a ride we could have gone to Avery and actually been next to the stones. Anyway, I'm glad we we did it... I'm not glad that many of the people on our tour were standard American tourist talking about how the US is so much better. I'm all for American pride but when visiting another country you should embrace their culture and enjoy what they have to offer. We have just as many things wrong with our own country.
After the tour we decided to had to finish our Ab. Fab. touring with a trip to Jennifer Saunders old house that was in Holland just like her character Edina. If the internet is right we're standing in front of it... if not it's one of the hundred other houses around that looked exactly the same. :) We stopped off for dinner a trendy pub but it didn't meet the awesomeness of our dive pub down the street from our hotel. Interestingly, while there we got a card asking how they were doing and the wording "Are you being served?". Why is that important? Because that's another one of our favorite UK Shows. :)
Our last stop of the night was Tesco, also in Holland park, which as we were standing in, Jason remember was also mentioned was also in an Ab. Fab. episode. Anyway, you know I love super markets in different countries. It's just such a great way to see what things are like and compared. Perhaps it's because I know ours so well, I can actually compare things and explore without being stared at... because we're all looking around.

This did and they're Krispy Kreme!!! 1pound 55!?! Like Whoat!! That's almost a 3 dollar doughnut. |
Lastly I have decided I do like London more than NYC, but I can't live here for 1 reason (beside the obvious I'd be poor and miss my family) Look at this change... It's ridiculous. Now I know the Queen is a smart lady... why would she not make Big coins have a higher value? There is a 2 pence coin that is bigger 1 pound coin and almost as big as the 2 pound coin. Really? I mean we have the same problem, our nickles are bigger than our dimes but we don't have as many denominations. Here they have 1 pence, 2 pence, 5, 10, 20, 50 and then 1 pound and 2 pounds. CRAZY!
PS: I hate that our credit cards don't have micro chips or whatever they are called like the do here in Europe. It's impossible to buy things from machines with them.
Till tomorrow!! xoxox
