I see London, I see France....

Yesterday we went to the beach as planned but we were too lazy to go all the way to the beautiful beaches of Cannes and opted to just check out Nice. I also have to add that it was a Holiday so the buses weren’t running very often. Who knew we’d catch so many holidays in the summer. We only have 3 actual holidays during summer. Anyway, the buses run less often. Some buses don’t run at all and lots of the stores are closed. But we adventured out to the beach where there is no sand, just rocks. I saw a few boobies, a few thongs and a few Speedos but nothing to right home about. ;) My biggest issue is all this sun is training me and even with my 50 proof sunscreen I’m still burning and tanning. It’s WILD!

Today was a travel day so all we basically did was go from hotel to bus, to plane to train, to metro to hotel. Not a whole lot of action shots to be had but perhaps a couple for your enjoyment. Haha 

Waiting on our bus that was 30 mins late. I usually brag on Frances public transit but in the South it just isn't as good.

Our hotel is quite interesting… It’s pretty far outside of the city center (still in zone 2 for all you Tube users) but we got a pretty great deal. It’s small but clean and will surely bring fond memories of the future. Jason’s already coming up with great sayings like “It’s just like a dorm room. We just happen to be sharing one side.” Not to mention I have to sit behind our door to get internet.

 Lastly, there are two things I have to tell you. 1st, My best friend Susan had her baby yesterday. :) I'm sooo excited for her. It's been hard being so far away. 2nd, I’m super clumsy and yes I did sort of fall while in the Mid-evil town of Eze and this is what resulted.

Doesn't look too  bad but it busted open bleeding today. Looking forward to the days I stop hurting myself. ;)
