- We started 2011 in Paris, France at the Sacre Coer's Peace ceremony.
- I returned to an awesome internship with the Users First Alliance and Permobil (where I wish I still was).
- I accepted my first OT job.
- I spend at week in FL, studying for the boards.
- I graduated with my doctorate in May.
- I took my boards, passed them and got a TN license.
- I finally got to see New York and Mike D.
- We took an amazing month long European vacation to celebrate graduating.
- We learned the lesson it really does only take one time... ;)
- We learned that 2 lines = yes you are pregnant no matter what country you are in.
- I started my first OT job.
- I fought my ass off to make the facility I worked in better for the residents.
- I had my first non-ovary ultrasound and let me tell you seeing a baby on a screen is WAY more exciting than looking at my ovaries.
- I paid off our credit cards!! :)
- I started doing hypnosis to make my birthing time easier but it did more than just that it made me happier and more confident in every aspect of my life.
- I made the hardest decision of my life and left a good paying job for my sanity and health... and then we were poor again.
- I felt our baby kick for the first time.
- We had to put down our beloved Timberland.
- I got my 2nd OT job, while pregnant, I might add...it may just be PRN but the few hours a week keeps me busy and happy, even if we are still poor.
- Jason and I got to spend almost his whole Christmas break together, that's almost 2 weeks of sleeping in, napping, and getting rid of stuff to make room for our baby.
I know 2012 will be an even bigger year for us... 2011 didn't turn out exactly how I planned and the truth is, it probably turned out better than I hoped for. 2011 certainly wasn't a bad year for me and 2012 is going to be even better.
- I will get rid of all the useless, material things I no longer need.
- We will have our first baby shower.
- I will turn 30!!!!! (Holy shit!)
- I will birth our son, naturally and easily.
- I will master breastfeeding painlessly.
- My nose will return back to normal. <-- Serious pregnancy issue, it's HUGE right now.
- I will lose the baby weight. :)
- We will figure out our finances, and I will let go of all the financial worries and enjoy every second of our baby's life.
- My dream job will appear and by the end of 2012 (hopefully sooner), we will be starting our lives in a new location.
- Our house will sell for at least what we owe on it.
- I will find happiness in our new life and family.
- We will learn more than we could imaging about parenting and each other.
- I will find time for myself, my family and my friends.
- I'll learn to live in the moment and laugh more.
Happy New Year my friends! Thank you so much for another great year of friendship and support. I hope 2012 brings you health, happiness and all you could wish for.
Yay! Happy new year :) I second you on the turning 30 thing this year. Weird, huh? No matter how hard we try we can't slow time down. I'm so excited to see what God does in you and your growing family's lives this year! :)
