Good day bidet

I wonder why bidets didn't catch on in the US? I really think they'd be super useful for our disabled and elderly. I can't tell you how much time I've spent in the last few weeks assisting elderly with "peri-care". They often fatigue before they can finish the task, or spend so much time and effort they rub their bums raw and are still "dirty". Note to self... as I age I will purchase a bidet attachement for my toilet.
