I want a unicorn to be on my family crest!

We started our day with a quick driving to Sterling Castle. I have to say although there are tones of historical reasons to go, the only reason I was really excited was because of the unicorn on the crest.  I <3 Unicorns and Pegasus.  This castle was also fun to explore. I think we’d both agree that the hands on children's section was the best, and the period actors made it feel more like Disney than a castle but still it was fun. The tapestries were amazing and they’re working on recreating some currently, which was pretty incredible to get to see. I also really enjoyed the fact that a lot of the details in the castle were wooden. Don’t get me wrong I love the beautiful marble and stone carvings, but wooden carvings offer a much more homey feel to me.

After seeing a bunch of Simpson trucks and cars we settled on Indian food. It was absolutely delicious but I burped and enjoyed indigestion for the rest of the day.

We made it to Glasgow, checked in to our less than fabulous hotel and took a nap before going out to explore the city a bit. First stop College of Piping and then the national piping center. The college of piping took lots of exploring to find. Turns out Glasgow was the absolute worst city to try to navigate through.  We didn’t make it before the college of piping closed and I was sad because the gift shop looked cool but we did make it to the national piping center. I feel really luck to have gotten to go but that being said it was WAY smaller than I thought it would be. Surprising to me even.
We found the Grand Ole Opry!!!

Yes that's our bunk bed room.... and no we aren't on a cruise ship.
