I am so blessed to be loved by my husband Jason. He loves me everyday, all day long... no matter what I'm wearing, if I'm sick and snotting or happy and healthy. I really am not sure how I ended up with such an amazing guy but I did... and I am incredibly thankful for the 10 years we've had together as of this August. 10 years!!! Geez!! That's like all of my "adult" life.
So what brought this blog on?
Well really it's a combinations of things. Jason's been working really hard to keep the house clean this summer and he's been super supportive of me for the past 2 years... But, it's the mix CDs he's been making for me that pushed me over the top. Yes, mix cds. So silly and simple and yet with all the time I spend in my car it might be the sweetest thing he can do for me. It lets me know he's thinking of me, shows how well he knows my music tastes and overall leaves me with a very sweet feeling all day long. I have to say the whole first hour of work today included a phonological loop of Islands In the Stream, which is one of "our songs". Yeah, it's a cheesy song... and yeah it's classic.... but more than that no matter what it makes me think of Jason, and him of me.
Sometimes it's important to remember not only how much you love someone else but also how much they love you.
