It was a dark and stormy night and after weeks of agonizing contemplation, interviews and a couple negotiation sessions, a decision has been reached. I received and sent in my signed offer letter for a SNF position close to home. I will leave out the facility name and company names but I will say, so far they have been absolutely amazing to me. They’ve meet and/or exceeded any request I had, returned all calls promptly and they sincerely want me to be part of their team. My start date is July 5, 2011, which gives me just enough time to graduate, pass the boards (god willing), go on an amazing European vacation and make it back to my brand new job just down the road (literally I could ride my bike, if I had one). I’ve prayed and prayed for things to fall into place so I would know what the right answer was. Today I was finally able to be quiet and still enough to see it. I have no idea what God’s plan is or why everything continues to work out for us to live in this little town but for whatever reason we are here and for now we are staying. I have faith that this is the right decision. This time next week the only thing left for me to be worrying about will be passing my boards. It's funny how many signs are out there, if we are open to them. Last night before my decision had been made as I was cleaning out my mail pile, I found this following scripture “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11.
Thank you all for your continued love and support.
Everything, my dear, happens for a reason. Congratulations on the blessing of your new job!
