On a positive note...

Things are looking up (perhaps not medically) but I only have 7 more days til I complete my last fieldwork ever. I start my residency at Permobil (An amazing opportunity for me to intern at the world’s leader in power mobility) December 6. We leave Paris in a month and 5 days. My group’s thesis poster got accepted to the international seating symposium and I’ll be presenting our poster there in March. For myself and all my OTD 2011 ladies we’re 1 day short of 6 months til graduation. Following that is my insane European vacation. It’s all very very exciting and nerve racking considering so many massive life change events are quickly approaching… but I think I’m ready. This February is my last 20’s birthday and it’s time that I finally start deciding what I really want in life. I’m hoping that many of my decisions will be made for me by opportunities that I can’t pass up, like this residency… but regardless I know that I’ve got tons of support from my family and friends and that there is a reason for my existence… now I just have to figure it out.

PS: My dad was doing better with his knee but looks like he will have to have surgery after all. It may be happening this week. So if anyone is actually reading this please send out good vibes or a prayer for him. Also, my niece could use some good vibes too.
